Solution:

  1. Ensure you have a compatible Office version (2016 or later)
  2. Restart all Office applications completely
  3. Check if the add-in is enabled: File → Options → Add-ins
  4. If disabled, select "COM Add-ins" and click "Go", then check Dictate
  5. Run Office as administrator if the issue persists
